1952 Martin D-28 w/case for Sale
These older Martins are getting much harder to find. On this guitar at one time, someone put double pickguards on the top. When they removed them, the top was refinished. As a result, the price is WAY below what one would cost in perfect condition, yet it plays and sounds just like it should....Aging nicely with that traditional powerful Martin bass response. This D-28 has a solid spruce top, solid Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony bridge, and ebony fingerboard. Martin used BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD on the back and sides of certain models prior to 1969. However, Brazilian Rosewood is no longer imported which makes this wood extremely expensive. Therefore, these older Martins are truly collector icons. This '52 D-28 is a must have piece.
